Project Subject |
According to the Malatya Chamber Of Commerce And Industry data, Malatya province meets %60 of apricot production of the world by its self. But there are vaious problems in production and marketing. And the systematically applied politics to solve these problems are unfortunatelly insufficient. For contributing to the solutions of these problems, the Project aims at giving production development, processing, marketing, advertising, having brand and long-term thinking trainings to theSMEs and relevant institutions in Malatya and in its districts for providing capacity development. |

Overall Objectives For farmers and SMEs to have knowledge about needs and problems of their sector in Malatya For farmers and SMEs to receive the training they need to increase their sales both in home market and exports To do workshops, to organize conferences, and to find 'apricot support unit' and thus to guarantee the sustainability Specific objectives 1. To analyze data in order to understand the needs and the problems of farmers and SMEs 2. To organize workshops, with full attendance, in order to determine the needs and the problems of the sector by a certain priority 3. To give the needed training to the farmers for them increase product quality and quantity 4. To give the needed trainings to SMEs about vision, marketing, brand, new markets and foreign trade 5. To establish 'apricot support unit,' under Malatya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, for the sustainability of the project |
